Aemetis India subsidiary, Universal Biofuels, begins construction of 50 million gallons per year (MGPY) distilled biodiesel and refined glycerin facility in Kakinada, India.

Aemetis completes construction of 50 MGPY biodiesel facility in Kakinada, India.

Aemetis enters into lease agreement with Cilion for the 65 MGPY ethanol facility in Keyes, CA. Invested $8 million in plant upgrades to optimize production.

Aemetis begins continuous production of fuel ethanol, wet distillers grains, and distillers corn oil at the Keyes facility.

Aemetis acquires Keyes, CA ethanol facility.

Aemetis stock begins trading on the NASDAQ under symbol AMTX.

Aemetis Biogas LLC subsidiary formed to design, build, and operate dairy-based renewable natural gas (RNG) production and distribution assets.

India plant upgraded to process lower-cost feedstocks.

2020

Aemetis partners with Messer Gas to convert more than 150,000 annual tons of CO2 gas from the Keyes ethanol facility into liquified CO2 for food and beverage production.

Aemetis Biogas completes first two dairy digesters and four miles of private pipeline for Phase I of the dairy digester/RNG project. Begins utilizing dairy biogas at Keyes facility to replace petroleum natural gas.

2021

Aemetis signs purchase and EPC agreement with TotalEnergies for an integrated solar microgrid with battery energy storage system to produce 1.9MW of zero carbon intensity electricity at the Keyes ethanol facility.

Aemetis signs agreement to purchase 125-acre former U.S. Army facility in Riverbank, CA to locate sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel (RD) production.

2022

Aemetis completes construction of dairy biogas-to-RNG gas purification facility; interconnection to PG&E gas pipeline; 5 new dairy digesters; 40 miles of private biogas pipeline; and begins construction of 5 new dairy digesters.

Aemetis assumes site control of Riverbank facility, begins facility infrastructure improvements, completes preliminary engineering and files final permits for SAF and RD production facility.

Aemetis fully commissions Zebrex Dehydration system and achieves 20% reduction in ethanol plant natural gas use.

Within the first 11 years of operations, Aemetis has reduced 12.9 million metric tons of CO2 from the low-carbon ethanol produced vs. gasoline that would have been consumed.* During the last decade, Aemetis has also provided over 8 billion pounds of animal feed (wet distillers grains) and over 100 million pounds of distillers corn oil for biodiesel production.
